Bryn Euryn plants

A very big thank you to Bryn Euryn Nursery for donating plants to be planted in the park.  We have just collected them and it took four trips in an estate car to carry them all.

Bryn Euryn is a social services initiative run by Conwy County Borough Council.  It provides opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, who are engaged in all aspects of gardening work.  The nursery is open to the public, who can buy a range of plants and other materials for the garden.  It is on Dinerth Road, Colwyn Bay.

The Friends of Queens park gardening squad will be planting these over the coming weeks during their regular gardening sessions.  Anyone is welcome to join them at 10am on alternate Mondays.  The next session is 25th February.

Friends of the park are holding an open meeting on Thursday 21 February at the County Hotel from 6:30pm.  Everyone welcome.
