23 June 2013

It is only three weeks until the Party in the Park, which takes place on 14th July.  But there is plenty more going on before then in the area – next weekend seems to be particularly busy.

Saturday 29th June is the Llandudno Sea Triathlon.  1,000 competitors will start with a swim in the sea near the pier before cycling around the Great Orme and running to Penrhyn Bay and back.

The first group start at 2:30pm and the last will finish around 7:30pm.  The promenade will be a great place to watch this highly entertaining event.  Go along and support.  It will certainly be busy in town all afternoon.

Sunday 30th June the Blind Veterans on Queens Road, Craig y Don are holding a Garden Party.  It starts at 11am and there will be a variety of stalls and entertainment – all raising money to run the centre.

Also on Sunday the Links Hotel will hosting Music for Heroes to raise money for Help for Heroes charity.  It starts at 3pm, with a selection of local music and entertainment for all ages.
