The friends of the park have had a real boost in the last couple of weeks.  We recently visited Ysgol Craig y Don to receive a number of cheques.  The money will fund our current plans to improve the park for the benefit of the whole community.

Thank you to the Ysgol Craig y don and the pupils, who were fantastic.

WREN COLOUR LOGO 1 RGBWREN (Waste Recycling Environmental Limited) have supplied the main funding for our current projects to install a roundabout that will be accessible to people in wheel chairs, replace the trim trail exercise equipment and renovate the park’s main entrance.  WREN receives the majority of its funding from the landfill tax levied by FCC Environment.  It awards grants for community, conservation and heritage projects and was very complimentary about our bid.

The friends of the park would like to say thank you for all these very generous donations.  This includes Conwy County Borough Council that has made financial contributions to the project and provided assistance.  Also, to Steve Lewis for taking these photos.
